AssuranceAmerica Corporation Selected #2 in PricewaterhouseCoopers and Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Annual Ranking of Top 100 of `Georgia's Best in Business'.

ATLANTA -- At a breakfast meeting sponsored by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and addressed by keynote speaker Rudy Giuliani, the top 100 best performing Georgia public companies were announced prior to the publication of the list in the newspaper's Sunday edition. ASSURANCEAMERICA CORPORATION (OTC BB: ASAM) was ranked number 2 in overall performance.

Although some very large companies like Coca-Cola, UPS and Home Depot made this year's list of Georgia's 100 best performing companies, size alone does not determine rankings. PriceWaterhouseCoopers analyzed five variables that determine whether a company made the list. They are (1) revenue, (2) year-over-year revenue change, (3) annual change in profit margin, (4) return on equity, and (5) change in stock price.
