Association of Shareware Professionals chooses Mitchell Friedman Communications as public relations representative.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 1995--Mitchell Friedman Communications today announced that it will be providing public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  services to the Association of Shareware Professionals See ASP.  (ASP).

This international trade organization represents more than 1,500 authors, publishers, vendors, and on-line distributors of shareware Software on the "honor system." The concept is that users try a product, and if they like it, they voluntarily pay a set registration fee or make a donation to the program's creator. There are tens of thousands of shareware programs; some fantastic, some awful. , which are software products that consumers can "try before they buy."

Mitchell Friedman, principal of the three year old firm, will promote the use of shareware and ASP activities by generating coverage in consumer, business, and computer industry media; securing speaking opportunities for ASP representatives; and designing other communications programs.
