Richard Brown, president and chief operating officer of Krause Corporation, Hutchinson, Kan., is appointed vice chair of agriculture for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). Brown will serve as the designated advocate to the association's board of directors for agricultural equipment-related members. He chairs the group's Ag Equipment Council, which provides strategic and operational direction to the AEM board as it develops its new programs and strengthens existing services. Brown has more than 35 years of experience in the agricultural equipment and heavy equipment industries. He has served leading companies in executive-level positions in sales, marketing, management and product development.
