Association of Equipment Manufacturers.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has elected Charles Stamp, Jr., Vice President Public Affairs Worldwide for Deere and Co. in Moline, Illinois, as Chairman of the association. Gerald Shaheen, Group " President of Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Illinois, was elected First Vice Chairman. They will lead the AEM Board of Directors and the association in setting the operating policies and guidelines of the association in areas including product safety and technical support, equipment statistics, market trends data, public policy representation, international marketing services, trade shows, online strategic information services, education and training, and development of safety/educational materials.
