Law Ensures Fairness Among Public Agencies

) today praised Governor Schwarzenegger's recent signing of AB 2951 (Goldberg), and released the following statement from ACWA Executive Director Steve Hall:

"We are proud to stand with the Governor and Assembly Member Goldberg as AB 2951 becomes law. This is not about education Co it is simply an issue of fairness in that some public agencies should not benefit at the expense of others. This bill ensures that."

AB 2951 will provide that all public agencies be subject to charges for water, sewer SEWER. Properly a trench artificially made for the purpose of carrying water into the sea, river, or some other place of reception. Public sewers are, in general, made at the public expense. Crabb, R. P. Sec. 113.  and electricity that contain a capital facilities component. It also protects the ability of public agency utilities to equitably eq·ui·ta·ble
