Association for Interactive Media and Unica Announce 1st Personalization Excellence Awards Finalists; Winner & Runner-up to be Recognized May 15th at AIM Annual Meeting.

Association for Interactive Media and Unica Corporation announced the five finalists of the first AIM/Unica Personalization Excellence Awards, honoring companies leading the industry in implementing personalized marketing Personalized marketing (also called personalization, and sometimes called one-to-one marketing) is an extreme form of product differentiation. Whereas product differentiation tries to differentiate a product from competing ones, personalization tries to make a unique product  and services for their customers. It is the first award to recognize how customer loyalty and satisfaction can be impacted by successfully balancing personalization with best practices in protecting consumer privacy.
