Associated Taps Baumgarten to Head Southeast Region; Weber to Lead Corporate Banking Division.

Associated Banc-Corp Associated Banc-Corp is a bank holding company headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As of early 2007, it had $20.8 billion in assets and was the 41st largest bank holding company in the United States.[1] The company has over 5101 employees.  has named David A. Baumgarten President of its Southeast Wisconsin Region.

Baumgarten has 25 years' banking experience, including 10 years' in leadership roles in the Milwaukee area, most recently as president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of US Bancorp's Wisconsin and Illinois operations.

Baumgarten replaces Gordon J. Weber, who has been promoted to president of Associated's Corporate Banking Division and named to the corporation's executive committee. Weber, a 30-year Associated veteran, will oversee relationships with the company's largest and most specialized commercial accounts, as well as commercial real estate activities. Weber is also responsible for Associated banks in the Chicago and Minneapolis areas.

As president of Associated's Southeast Wisconsin Region, Baumgarten will oversee sales, pricing and credit decisions for personal relationships as well as small and medium-sized business relationships across 54 banking offices with total assets of approximately $2.6 billion.
