.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 1998--The Board of Directors of Associated Banc-Corp Associated Banc-Corp is a bank holding company headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As of early 2007, it had $20.8 billion in assets and was the 41st largest bank holding company in the United States.[1] The company has over 5101 employees.  today declared a cash dividend of $.29 per share for the third quarter. In light of the company's recent five-for-four stock split, the action effectively increases the dividend by 25 percent.

The regular cash dividend is payable Aug. 14, 1998 to shareholders of record Aug. 4, 1998.

This is the 113th consecutive quarter Associated has paid a cash dividend since its origin in May of 1970.
