Bayberry, however, filed its application with the state prior to the moratorium. In preliminary documents recently submitted to the city, Bayberry is considering a two-story assisted living center at the north end of the parcel. The plans show the facility would total just under 60,000-square-feet in size. For more independent clients, Bayberry wants to build 15 cottage units consisting of six duplexes of 2,980 square feet each and one 4,470-square-foot triplex triplex /tri·plex/ (tri´pleks) triple or threefold. triplex triple or threefold. . Salem-based Sunwest Management Inc. will meet with city officials this week to discuss the proposal's feasibility. Sunwest Vice President Wally Gutzler said the company will evaluate city requirements and fees before moving forward on a possible 16-unit memory-care wing that would total 7,614 square feet. He said demand for such facilities is steady. In addition to its 53-unit Woodside facility, Sunwest operates the 70-unit Alpine Springs assisted living center and the 56-unit Alpine Court Alzheimer's care facility in Eugene's Barger Drive area, which includes several duplexes and triplexes.
