Assist-2-Sell: North America's Largest Discount Real Estate Company's Record Growth Rate Surged in 2005.


RENO, Nev. -- Assist-2-Sell(R), North America's largest residential discount real estate company, added 147 owner-operated franchises during calendar year 2005, bringing the total on Jan. 1, 2006, to 577 -- a record 33.4% increase from a year earlier. The company closed out the year by opening 17 franchises in December 2005.

The franchise totals were announced by Assist-2-Sell (www.assist2sell.com) co-owners Mary LaMeres-Pomin and Lyle E. Martin. In its recent 27th Annual Franchise 500 report, Entrepreneur Magazine Entrepreneur Magazine is a publication that carries news stories about entrepreneurialism, small business management, and business opportunities.

This magazine is published monthly, with a total of 12 issues annually. (No special extra issues are published.
 has ranked the company the 73rd highest franchise operation for 2006 -- up from the 78th position a year earlier. Assist-2-Sell had been ranked No. 145 in 2004, 162 in 2003, and 203 in 2002.

In addition, Entrepreneur's 2006 rankings placed Assist-2-Sell at: 34th among fastest-growing franchises, 17th among low-cost franchises and 65th among America's top global franchises.

Assist-2-Sell's "Full Service with $avings(R)" process enables sellers to save thousands of dollars in commissions compared to paying 6 percent. Assist-2-Sell franchises provide the services of a professional real estate broker, for a low flat fee.

"Now in our 20th year in operation, Assist-2-Sell continues to strengthen and grow in popularity," LaMeres-Pomin and Martin said in a joint statement. "From the onset, home sellers have told us they like the fact we offer all the primary services of traditional real estate companies."
