with conventional measures of satisfaction with e- learning systems in assessing their value, Levy (computer and information sciences, Nova Southeastern U.) prefers to define satisfaction as "the perceived performance Perceived performance, in computer engineering, refers to how quickly a software feature appears to perform its task. The concept applies mainly to user acceptance aspects.  level users find at a post-experience of time with e-learning systems." Additionally, he identifies perceived value as a second, neglected dimension of system effectiveness, defining it as "an enduring core belief about the level of importance users attribute to the e-learning system." He constructs his methodology for measuring e-learning programs' effectiveness based on the multiplication multiplication, fundamental operation in arithmetic and algebra. Multiplication by a whole number can be interpreted as successive addition. For example, a number N multiplied by 3 is N + N + N.  of these two dimensions.
