Assam Police nab top ULFA leader.

Sibsagar (Assam), Nov.20 (ANI): Police in Sibsagar, Assam, have arrested a top ULFA ULFA United Liberation Front of Assam  leader Ram Singh.

Shymal Prasad Prasāda (Sanskrit: प्रसाद), prasād/prashad (Hindi), Prasāda in (Kannada), prasādam (Tamil), or prasadam  Saikia, the area's Superintendent of Police, said that Singh had taken shelter with his wife and four-month-old son at a relative's house in Bakhor Bengena village, when a joint team of army and police apprehended him on Tuesday night.

He and his family, besides a relative Atul Buragohain, are presently being interrogated, he said.

Trained from Kachin in Myanmar, Singh was a terror in upper Assam. He was also a bomb expert. (ANI)
