: AZPN) today announced the results of voting at its special meeting of stockholders held this morning.

At the special meeting, shareholders approved the company's proposed $100 million private equity investment from funds managed by Advent International Advent International - a long-established and leading global private equity investor Background

-- give the board of directors discretion to effect a one-for-two

or a one-for-three reverse stock split at any time prior to

The company expects the private equity financing to close on or about Thursday, August 14, 2003. The voting results for all of the proxy proposals will be disclosed in the company's 10-K, which will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission in late September.
