Aspen Exploration announces gas discovery.DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 1995--Aspen Exploration Corp. has announced that the Grey Wolf No. 1 well in Kern County, Calif., will be perforated per·fo·ra·ted adj. Pierced with one or more holes. in mid-November to determine if the well is capable of producing commercial quantities of natural gas as indicated by electric logs. Aspen is operator with vice president Bobby Cohan in charge of field operations. Production casing has been set and preparations have been made to test an approximate 12-foot interval at a depth of 3,700 feet. The nearest pipeline is 2 miles away. Aspen has an 18 percent working interest in the well as well as a 20 percent back-in after payout.
