Current partners include Stratus, Digital/Compaq, Volt Delta, Nortel and Group 2000. As part of its commitment to the IN market, Aspect also announced the formation of a new OEM and Intelligent Network channel. Its efforts will focus on sales and distribution to OEMs such as Nortel and Digital that source IN technology directly to telecommunications service providers. Dan Poranski will head the IN business unit as general manager. Most recently, Poranski was vice president of Marketing at Voicetek Corporation. Sheldon Dinkes will head the OEM and Intelligent Network channel as a corporate vice president. Dinkes was formerly chief executive officer of Voicetek Corporation.
