), the leading provider of customer relationship portals, filed suit March 9, 2000, against eConvergent, Inc., Clyde D. Foster, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of eConvergent, Rufus Wavel and Bipin Paracha. Foster was until July 5, 1999, a vice president at Aspect Communications. Wavel and Paracha, now employed by eConvergent, are former Aspect employees.

The suit alleges Foster, Wavel, Paracha and eConvergent misappropriated mis·ap·pro·pri·ate

Today, a temporary restraining order temporary restraining order: see injunction.  was issued in Santa Clara County Superior Court requiring eConvergent, the individual defendants and all acting in concert with eConvergent and the individual defendants to preserve all documents, cease selling products incorporating Aspect's trade secrets and refrain from disclosure of any information relating to Aspect's trade secrets.
