Asian Information Technology and Cypress Extend Distribution Agreement in China and Taiwan; AIT Will Distribute Broader Portfolio of Cypress Products and Strengthen Customer Relationships.

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Asian Information Technology Inc. (AIT) and Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (NYSE:CY) have reached a distribution agreement that will enable AIT to sell the complete range of Cypress products into Taiwan and China.

AIT, which has been a distributor of SMaL Camera Technologies' industry-leading digital imaging solutions for a variety of business and consumer applications such as ultra-slim digital still cameras, automotive vision systems and cell phone cameras, became a distributor of Cypress products when Cypress acquired SMaL Camera Technologies in February 2005. This new agreement enables AIT to sell all of Cypress's products, including Fast SRAMs and other high-bandwidth memories, USB devices, timing technology solutions, physical layer devices, framers, network search engines, and PSoC(TM) programmable mixed-signal arrays.

Among new initiatives, AIT will deploy a dedicated team to promote Cypress products, initially focusing on Cypress's CMOS image sensors and PSoC devices. The company aims to be one of Cypress's top-two distributors in both Taiwan and China in 2006, and to achieve regional revenue of $100M USD by 2007.
