AsiaInfo Wins IP Billing Software Solution Contract From China Telecom, Xinjiang.

AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:ASIA Asia (ā`zhə), the world's largest continent, 17,139,000 sq mi (44,390,000 sq km), with about 3.3 billion people, nearly three fifths of the world's total population. ), a leading provider of telecom software solutions in China, today announced that it has signed an IP billing software solution contract with Xinjiang Telecom, a provincial subsidiary of China Telecom.

Under the terms of the contract, AsiaInfo will provide the carrier with its integrated billing management platform AIOBS (AsiaInfo Online Billing System), replacing previous billing software that was installed by an international provider through local vendors. AIOBS will enable Xinjiang Telecom to consolidate billings from different services with one management platform, conveniently add new services on demand, and reduce operation costs significantly.

Asiainfo has the largest IP market share in China, and AIOBS is the most widely installed IP billing platform among Chinese carriers. Xinjiang Telecom's decision to replace its original vendors further highlights AsiaInfo's leading position.
