AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc., a Delaware company with its principal place of business in Beijing, the People's Republic of China, has filed the registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to sell up to US$50 million of its common stock. AsiaInfo is a leading provider of Internet related information technology professional services and software products in China.

AsiaInfo has filed an application for its shares of common stock to be quoted on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol "ASIA". This symbol is currently being used by another company which is unrelated to AsiaInfo. AsiaInfo's future use, if any, of this symbol is subject in all instances to the approval of AsiaInfo's listing application with Nasdaq, which approval has not yet been obtained. Investors should not confuse AsiaInfo with the company currently trading under the symbol "ASIA".
