Asia members receive MAI designation; Appraisal Institute expands regional relationships.


As part of its ongoing international relations initiatives, leadership from the Appraisal Institute partnered with the International Right of Way Association to visit mutual strategic partners in Japan and China in May. Representatives from both groups met with the Japanese Real Estate Institute, the Japanese Compensation Council, the Chinese Institute of Real Estate Agents and Appraisers and other clients in the two countries. Appraisal Institute members also met with other clients in China to discuss mutual objectives for the valuation and financial industries in light of current economic conditions around the world.
