It publishes newsletters, hosts seminars and annual conferences and recognizes distinguished women in the field with its ) announced the awarding of another contract to the Company's Singapore subsidiary, Sigma Cable, worth $21.7 million.

The Company will supply distributed products of low voltage Low voltage is an electrical engineering term that broadly identifies safety considerations of an electricity supply system based on the voltage used. While different definitions exist for the exact voltage range covered by "low voltage", the most commonly used ones include "mains  and low tension cables of between 600 to 1000 volts. The contract is expected to commence in December 2001 and be completed by December 2003.

The contract was awarded by Singapore Power Singapore Power (Abbreviation: SP; Chinese: 新加坡能源有限公司) is a company which provides electricity and gas transmission, distribution services, and market support services to more than a million customers in  Grid, a government-linked corporation that maintains and manages an electrical transmission and distribution network in Singapore. This contract is in addition to another project engineering contract of $33.8 million awarded to Sigma Cable in May 2001 from Singapore Power Grid for medium and high voltage cable.
