Asia Media's MyWeb Announces Sun Microsystems Licensing and Marketing Partnership Agreement.

Asia Media Communications Ltd. (OTC BB:ASMCD) today announced a licensing and marketing partnership agreement between its MyWeb subsidiary and Sun Microsystems Inc. (Nasdaq:SUNW) for the use and distribution of JavaOS for Consumer and Personal Applications technologies.

MyWeb and Sun feel that Sun's PersonalJava technology, already widely used for the Internet, suits the needs of the set-top market because of its versatility and cross-platform compatibility. The collaboration between the companies will include licensing and co-marketing. Both companies will work on developing a JavaOS for Consumers based solution, MyWeb Client Computing, and jointly promote the solution to the Internet appliances manufacturers.

MyWeb will incorporate applications based on PersonalJava technology into its advanced MyWeb SET TOP BOX products and also its server suite application targeting at MSPs (MyWeb Service Providers) and service providers for MyWeb devices. In addition, Sun will engage MyWeb's services to advertise its products and services on MyWeb Online Service (MOS).
