Ashland Performance Materials has expanded its Derakane corrosion resistant epoxy epoxy

Any of a class of thermosetting polymers, polyethers built up from monomers with an ether group that takes the form of a three-membered epoxide ring. The familiar two-part epoxy adhesives consist of a resin with epoxide rings at the ends of its molecules and a curing
 vinyl ester Vinyl Ester, or Vinylester, is a resin produced by the esterification of an epoxy resin with an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid. The reaction product is then dissolved in a reactive solvent, such as styrene, to a 35 - 45 percent content by weight.  resin resin, any of a class of amorphous solids or semisolids. In addition to industry-standard Derakane Momentum 411-350 resin and Derakane Momentum 510C-350 resin, the line now includes Derakane 451-400 and Derakane 515-400 resins, which were derived from Ashland's Hetron corrosion-resistant resins.
