Asera Executive to Speak At Chicago eBusiness Integration Conference.

Asera, Inc. today announced that Anil Nori, chief technology officer and co-founder of Asera, will participate in the eBusiness Integration Conference. Sponsored by the BrainStorm Group and Giga Information Group, Inc. (OTCBB:GIGX), the event will be held from March 25-27, 2002 at the Chicago Hilton.

Nori will be part of the panel on March 25 at 3:00 p.m. entitled "BPM Best Practices," moderated by Ken Vollmer, Conference Co-Chairman and Research Director, B2B Integration Strategies, Giga Information Group. Additionally, Nori will be participating in the panel on March 26 at 4:00 p.m. entitled "Making Sense of Web Services Standards," moderated by Uttam Narsu, Director, Giga Information Group.

Nori is responsible for leading Asera's overall technology vision, strategy and direction. He also served on Oracle's Corporate Architecture Review Board. Nori brings extensive product strategy, architecture, design, implementation, and planning experience to Asera.

Before joining Oracle, Nori was architect for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) RDB-related products. He was involved in the development of centralized and distributed DBMS products for high-end, scalable and reliable environments.

Nori holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science. Additionally, he has done research at Computer Corporation of America, a premier database research company. He is an active member of the database research community having chaired sessions, published papers and presented tutorials at ACM SIGMOD (Management of Data), VLDB (Very Large Database) and IEEE Data Engineering conferences.
