Ascom Wireless Solutions Inc. announced today the availability of Enhanced Digital Integration for the Freeset DCT1900 in-building wireless communication system.

Enhanced Digital Integration provides an intelligent interface between the Freeset DCT1900 in-building wireless communication system and an existing telephone system.

Freeset DCT1900 is a digital in-building wireless communication system that can be connected to a company's telephone system via standard industry interfaces as well as through the newly released Enhanced Digital Integration. Enhanced Digital Integration allows the Freeset system to provide wireless connectivity to many widely installed proprietary telephone systems such as those manufactured by Nortel and Lucent.

In addition to standard system features such as hold, transfer and conference, Enhanced Digital Integration enables the Freeset DCT1900 portable telephone to emulate em·u·late

 line identification. This provides Freeset users with the same functionality as a digital display desktop telephone.

Product Overview

Freeset DCT1900 is a digital in-building wireless telephone system that can be connected to an existing business communications network The transmission channels interconnecting all client and server stations as well as all supporting hardware and software. . Freeset delivers communications to mobile employees within the working environment allowing users to make and receive calls as if they were using a desk phone. The Freeset DCT1900 operates at a low radio frequency power and in the 1900 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  frequency, which prevents interference with sensitive equipment.
