Ascom's FreeNet voice over wireless fidelity (VoWiFi) and Internet Protocol Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (IP-DECT) systems help businesses improve communication for mobile employees through wireless telephony, text messaging and personal alarms. The solutions are now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Communication Manager 4.0 IP telephony software and Avaya SIP Enablement Services 3.1.2, a standards-based communications architecture that bridges the public switched telephone network and Internet worlds.
