Ascent To Integrate Intel Dialogic Continuous Speech Processing Technology Into Speech-Enabled Software Platform.

Ascent Computing Group Inc. (Ascent), an Inc 500 and a Fast 500 company, and the only provider of both voice-based technology software and IT consulting services, today announced that it has selected Intel(R) as a key components provider for its speech-enabled software platform.

 Series Telephony Boards, for use in their AscentTel(TM) speech technology product that incorporates Ascent's proprietary natural language processing technology. Ascent has implemented all the features of Intel's Continuous Speech Processing Speech processing is the study of speech signals and the processing methods of these signals.

The signals are usually processed in a digital representation whereby speech processing can be seen as the intersection of digital signal processing and natural language processing.
