Ascent Media Group Partners with SDI Media.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Ascent Media Group today announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with SDI Media to expand its international capabilities and provide language localization services. The alliance, which will be managed by an executive committee from both companies, increases the overall offerings and efficiencies and enhances value for each company's global media and entertainment clients.

The three initial services jointly offered by Ascent Media Group and SDI include:

* Language Element Archive: Content storage in a globally distributed archive to enable content owners to reuse their language elements for new distribution channels.

* International Content Manufacture: Creation of foreign masters and distribution products with dubbed and/or subtitled languages for content owners to seamlessly distribute their content internationally.

* Foreign Language Broadcast: Integration of dubbing and subtitling processes into asset management and broadcast playout fulfillment for broadcasters to engage with one provider for its international broadcast needs.
