Ascent Logic Corporation Appoints New CFO and Vice President, Finance & Business Development.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 28, 1996--Ascent Logic Corporation has recently appointed Ephraim Kwok as CFO & Vice President of Finance and Business Development. Prior to joining Ascent Logic, Ephraim was at KMOS Semiconductor in Santa Clara in the position of the COO and CFO for more than 6 years. He holds an MBA in Finance from UC-Berkeley as well as a BS from UC-Davis. Ephraim is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Platform Technologies Incorporated.

Ascent Logic's President and CEO, Larry McArthur, welcomes Ephraim to the Executive team and is looking forward to his influence and direction in guiding Ascent into the next Millennium.
