Ascent Logic Announces New Vice President of Sales Information Systems Strategic Business Unit.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 28, 1996--Ascent Logic Corporation has named Richard (Dick) Crisman to the position of Vice President of the Information Systems Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Richard has over 20 years of experience in various Information Technology management positions that include sales management, technical consulting and applications development.

In his new assignment, Richard will be responsible for the development and management of all sales strategies for the RDD-100 product suite into the Information Systems marketplace.

Prior to joining Ascent Logic, Richard was the Director of Business Development at Price Waterhouse where he was responsible for creating and executing a business development plan for the communications segment of this industry for the U.S. He held a similar position at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he managed and initiated video server and system integration sales efforts in the emerging broadband/multimedia market. Working with strategic partners in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
