), a leading provider of high-performance, end-to-end intranetworking solutions, today announced revenue growth of $6.5 million on sales of $22.6 million for its third fiscal quarter ended June 28, 1997, compared with sales of $16.1 million for the same quarter in 1996.

With sales up 40 percent from the same period a year ago, net income for the quarter was $617,000, or $0.07 per share, compared to a loss of $664,000, or a loss of $0.08 per share, in the third quarter of fiscal 1996. For the first nine months of fiscal 1997, sales were $61.3 million, an increase of 29 percent as compared with $47.4 million for the same period a year ago. Net income for the first nine months of fiscal 1997 was $1.2 million, or $0.13 per share, up from a loss of $859,000, or a loss of $0.10 per share, for the comparable period last year.

The product's single 10/100 dual-speed connection and two optional 100Mbps fiber or copper expansion slots provide maximum configuration flexibility to support the high-speed migration of Ethernet LANs and dedicated switched connections of graphics-intensive workgroups or high-performance resources.
