Asante Adds VP of Corporate Development to Management Team.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Asante Networks Inc. (OTC:ASTN) today announced Tony Huang has joined the company as Vice President of Corporate Development. Mr. Huang has extensive experience in venture capital investments, corporate banking, strategic alliances, and corporate business development.

John Hwang, CEO of Asante Networks, made the announcement, commenting, "Tony brings a diverse corporate finance and business development background to Asante, which we believe will be critical as we expand Asante's business globally. Most recently, Mr. Huang served as the Director of International Venture Capital Group at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), a leading financial services provider that focuses on serving emerging growth and mature companies in the technology, life science and private equity markets worldwide. For approximately ten years, Mr. Huang was responsible for SVB's business and market development activities in the Asia Pacific region, and was responsible for a number of successful investments into venture capital funds, emerging technology companies, and strategic business partners in Asia.

Mr. Huang received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and MBA from California State University-Hayward
