(MGC MGC Mammalian Gene Collection MGC Media Gateway Controller MGC Middle Georgia College MGC Museums and Galleries Commission (UK government) MGC Mississippi Gaming Commission MGC Manual Gain Control ) have agreed to boost the production capacity of PPE (polyphenylene-ether) powders, a material for modified PPE resin, in Singapore. The two companies will increase production at Polyxylenol Singapore Pte. Ltd. (PXS), a production joint venture AKCC and MGC established in Singapore in 2002, and at Asahi Kasei Plastics Singapore Pte. Ltd. (APS), AKCC's wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock. Notes: In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners. . With the move, AKCC and MGC will be able to increase PPE powder production capacity by 9,000 tons to 39,000 tons per year. Production expansion will be scheduled for July 2006.
