HARRISON'S millionaire manager Barry Hughes shows off his latest status symbol yesterday - a pounds 290,000 Rolls Royce Phantom.

As the boxer was selling autographs to scrape together drinks money in a Spanish pub, Hughes was in his element in Glasgow's city centre yesterday.

The security firm boss parked the luxury car on double yellow lines near his offices.

The three-tonne Roller sat just yards away from the trendy One Up bar, where Hughes was arrested two weeks ago for allegedly carrying a knife.

Hughes denied the knife charge and is expected back at Glasgow Sheriff Court in October. But the ex-boxer is only allowed into the city centre between 7am and 7pm as part of bail conditions.

The jet-black 6.75-litre motor, sporting a pounds 50,000 1BH personal number plate, drew glances from passers-by.

The 2pm visit to Queen Street allowed Hughes around five hours to get out of town in his 150mph motor before his curfew kicked in.

Hughes, who runs Braveheart Security as well as managing Harrison, claims to have made his fortune in car sales and property deals.

In January, the Sunday Mail revealed that married dad-of-two Hughes was having an affair with former Miss Scotland Michelle Watson.

Three years ago, Hughes' father's home was visited by police carrying out major money laundering probe into the McGovern crime clan.

Hughes' so-called takeover bid for Partick Thistle FC was rejected in April.

An associate said last night: "Some people might think he's flaunting his wealth after all the recent problems...and they would probably be right."
