Speaking to M AIL AIL 1. Angiocentric immunoproliferative lesion 2. Angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy  T ODAY , Arvind said he was delighted with his win over Jorgenssen, a quarter- finalist at the World Championships which concluded in Hyderabad last week.

" I am happy to win against Jorgenssen, who is one of the most exciting prospects in world badminton today. Before the match, I had decided to start attacking him from the first point. I know that he thrives on speed and power. I was determined to deny him any chance to attack," he said.

In both the games, it was Arvind who took the lead.

In the first game, Arvind smashed and dribbled his way to an 8- 1 lead.

Jorgenssen, who had a great run in the World Championships, found himself at the receiving end of a barrage of cross court smashes from the Indian. Thereafter, the Indian went on to pocket the game 21- 13 in 12 minutes.

In the second game, Jorgenssen was off the blocks in a flash and raced to an 8- 3 lead. But then the Indian came back strongly with a barrage of cross court smashes and cross court drops. The Dane then pulled it back to 8 all before taking the lead 12- 10 for the first time. But once again, Arvind stepped up the pace with some scorching scorch

" After my disappointing show in the World Championships ( he lost in the opening round), it is good to make it to the quarter- finals of a tournament," he said.

Arvind will now take on Malaysian veteran Wong Choon Han.

On his part, Chetan Anand came up with a masterly display. Hans Kristian, who had upset 11th seed Chen Long on Wednesday, had no answer to the Indian's touch play and crisp smashes. Chetan has an uphill task on Friday as he takes on the top seed and World No. 1 Lee Chong Wei
