(NYSE:ARV), today announced that its Roll Coater Division has unveiled a Customer Service Network via a secured business-to-business web portal available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at http://rollcoater.arvin.com. A tour of the service can be obtained by viewing the site URL and clicking on the "Tutorial and Site Help" link.

The site provides customers real-time access to information on their business activity at Arvin Roll Coater, including inventory and order status. The customer can now, with a click of the mouse, obtain status reports on individual metal coils that are housed within any Arvin Roll Coater facility. With real-time information, customers can more intelligently work with Arvin Roll Coater to better manage metal inventories and expedite production requests and shipping releases. The system allows the user to search for specific information, or query a database using a robust sorting option. To facilitate detailed analysis, the Customer Service Network offers a unique downloading feature that encourages customers to export data into their favorite spreadsheet or database program. Lead time for customer response has been greatly reduced because until now, they have had to rely heavily on more traditional methods of information retrieval such as faxed inventories, phone calls, batch e-mailings, and EDI systems.
