ACS built two FTTX networks: one for the rural area in the Perham Exchange, and another in a lake-area golf course development to serve an affluent residential area near Thumper Pond. This latest fiber installation in west central Minnesota includes ADC OmniReach 12-inch Fiber Access Terminals (fiber/copper), which include a robust stainless steel pedestal cover, and 10-inch Fiber Access Terminals (fiber only) with a rugged polypropylene housing. For both single-family homes, as well as multiple dwelling units, ADC OmniReach Fiber Access Terminals provide physical protection, long-life reliability, superior fiber management, and an aesthetically appealing appearance.

The OmniReach Fiber Access Terminal's dome-style pedestal provides a continuous barrier to water and rodent intrusion, and uses a bell-jar effect to provide flood protection up to NEMA 6 standards. To achieve long-term flexibility and reliability, the fiber management inside the terminal ensures proper bend radius is maintained. Technicians also have easy access to the individual fibers they need, whether fusion spliced or connected with SC or LC connectors.
