Arvesta Corporation, San Francisco, announces that Elin D. Miller
assumes the position of president and CEO, Ted (Toshihiro) Tsunoda is
named executive vice president, Planning and Administration, and Tom
Justmann is named vice president, Commercial, effective June 1. Miller
brings more than 20 successful years of experience to Arvesta in a
unique combination of agriculture, government and public affairs
expertise. Most recently, she served as vice president, Global Pest
Management, leading the non-ag portion of Dow AgroSciences. Tsunoda has
32 years of agrochemical experience in Japan and the United States.
Prior to his most recent assignment in the United States, Tsunoda was
manager for Tomen Corporation's domestic agrochemicals section in
Tokyo. Justmann began his career in with Arvesta in 1995 as director of
business operations, Eastern Hemisphere. In 2002, he was promoted to
director of sales. Since then, he has been responsible for directing
global business operations to achieve sales and earnings.
