The Gap Band, known for their high energy, groove thumpin', party like set, they are dubbed in many circles as "the black Aerosmith." From the late 70's to the early 80's, the band dominated the R&B charts with their hard driving funk grooves. Four of the band's nine albums went platinum. Their latest single "Without You" was listed as one of the Top 20 songs of the Year in Billboard Magazine 2001.

Closing out the weekend of solid main stage concert performances on Sunday are Kem, Floetry, ConFunkShun and India.Arie.

KEM, also one of Motown's rising stars, blends soothing lyrics with bass, drums, guitar and percussion. His hit single "Brotha Man" from his album, Kemistry, is a testament of faith that combines melodic vocals, a soulful spoken testimonial with a style that is distinct and timeless.

Floetry, meaning "poetry that flows," is a duo from the U.K. that provides smooth R&B vocals, soulful jazz, hip-hop, and spoken word. Their debut album, Floetic, offers honest material with sensual, joyful and mellow vocals.

India.Arie often explains that she put a dot in her name to make it recognizable, like a trademark.
