A SPECIAL family open day is taking place at the Barber A barber (from the Latin barba, "beard") is someone whose occupation is to cut any type of hair, give shaves, and trim beards. In previous times, barbers also performed surgery and dentistry.  Institute.

The Institute's annual Family Open Day, at Edgbaston Park Road, runs from 10am to 5pm today with free admission to the galleries, concerts and events..

All of the art, music and drama performances will be aimed at children and adults.

The theme will be Art, Music and Landscape, with the popular Art Alive! drama performances More details at www.barber.org.
