JACKSON Kavanagh is usually plotting murders. The Liverpool writer/director runs the Death by Numbers Theatre Company. It is one of those companies which stages murder mysteries and asks audiences to work out whodunnit. Kavanagh not only directs the two-hour shows, he sometimes appears in them and writes the scripts. The company has been highly successful, running for five years now, but Kavanagh admits he likes to ``dip my toe into formal theatre every few months or so''. '' But they want to try out their ideas before looking for investment. Next month, the company which they named after themselves will stage a production for an invited audience of potential backers, business advisers and professionals from both the media and the theatre. Kavanagh has been asked to direct the play This Lime Tree Bower Conor McPherson’s muti award winning first play. One role has been cast but the company say they are still looking for two other actors, one in his twenties with an Irish accent, the other in his thirties.
