The McKenzie Arts Festival An arts festival or art fair is a festival that focuses on the visual arts, but which may also focus on other arts.
Arts festivals in the visual arts are exhibitions. , a two-day event benefitting the local school arts program, will be held next Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12-13, between Blue River and McKenzie Bridge.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and is spread out through various locations along a 10-mile stretch of the McKenzie River For rivers name "Mackenzie", see .
The McKenzie River is a tributary of the Willamette River, 86 miles (138 km) long, in northwestern Oregon in the United States. It drains part of the Cascade Range east of Eugene into the southernmost end of the Willamette Valley. , from McKenzie School in Blue River to the McKenzie River Ranger Station, just past mile post 52.
Twenty percent of all art sales and donations to the festival will go to McKenzie School, which lost its arts funding this year.

McKenzie School, 51187 Blue River Drive, Blue River, will have an art market where students, artists and hobbyists can show and sell their work.
The school will also offer hands-on projects for visitors.
Holiday Farm Resort, near mile post 45, will sell traditional quilts and contemporary wall hangings.

McKenzie Gas Station, across from the store, will show historic and contemporary photography, heirloom memorabilia and log furniture.

McKenzie River Ranger Station, two miles east of McKenzie Bridge, will show "Arrival and Departure," a collaborative art project created this summer by students and local artists.
