Born on 12th January 1971 and brought up in Essex, Jones started her professional career in the newsroom of Buckinghamshire based local radio station Mix 96 in 1994.
 

THE crowd may not be the only ones roaring at the Empire later this month.

The Lime Street theatre plays host to The Tiger Who Came To Tea from March 19-21.

Based on Judith Kerr's 40-year-old best-selling picture book, the family show aimed at youngsters aged three and above is packed with magic and sing-a-longs.

It features songs and lyrics by David Wood, the country's leading writer and director of plays and musicals for children whose other successes include Fantastic Mr Fox, BFG BfG Bundesanstalt für Gewaesserkunde (Germany: Federal Institute of Hydrology)
BFG Big Friendly Giant (Roald Dahl book)
BFG Battlefleet Gothic (game)
