Artist to help put Eisteddfod on map.AN artist has teamed up with his former headmaster to create a print for this year's National Eisteddfod eisteddfod (īstĕth`vəd, –vôd) [Welsh,=session], Welsh competitive festival. Though the artist left the town in his late teens, such is the hold of his hometown on him, he adopted the name Bala. Fittingly, Iwan Bala won the Gold Medal for Fine Art when the festival last visited the town in 1997. All profits from the sale of the prints will go towards this year's Fine Art award.
