Artist's work tours North Wales for charity.THE work of North Wales North Wales (known in some archaic texts as Northgalis) is the northernmost unofficial region of Wales, bordered to the south by Mid Wales and to the east by England. wildlife artist Philip Philip, tetrarch of Ituraea Philip, d. A.D. 34, tetrarch of Ituraea, son of Herod the Great. He was perhaps the ablest of the Herod dynasty. He is mentioned in the Gospel of St. Luke. Snow has gone on the road - literally. For his drawing of red kites and buzzards have been turned into a display panel on the side of a van for the RSPB RSPB n abbr (Brit) (= Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) → LPO f RSPB (Brit) n abbr (= Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) → , which is now touring the region to promote the charity's work. Philip,based near Holyhead, is also helping the public to spot birds in their back gardens. He said: ``I have just illustrated the Collins Guide,Birds by Behaviour, which features birds in the UK and Europe.'' His work has been exhibited around the world and is also on show at Pensychnant Conservation Centre, Conwy. Philip added: ``I used to live near there and I know that it does a lot of good work.''The exhibition,open from 11 am until5pm,Wednesdays to Sundays, runs untilJune 29. |
