Artisoft Appoints Steve Manson as President and Chief Executive Officer; Chief Architect of Company's Computer Telephony Market Strategy.

Prior to his promotion, Manson had been general manager and senior vice president of Artisoft. Since that time, he has been responsible for directing Artisoft's long-term corporate strategy and business initiatives, as well as overseeing the company's marketing efforts. Manson came to Artisoft with a rich background of highly technical and specialized marketing experiences, having been the director of corporate marketing for Gensym Corporation (company) Gensym Corporation - A company that supplies software and services for intelligent operations management. Common applications include quality management, process optimisation, dynamic scheduling, network management, energy and environmental management, and process , where he was responsible for all-worldwide marketing and lead-generation programs. Manson has also held a position as director of product marketing for Cadre Technologies, and was a product and marketing manager for Prime Computer. He began his career as a software developer for Wang Laboratories Wang Laboratories - Computer manufacturer, known for their office automation products.
