Artisoft(R), Inc. (NASDAQ:ASFT), a leading developer of software-based phone systems today announced general availability of TeleVantage CTM Suite, a set of computer telephony applications designed to provide a solid, future-proof foundation for small- to medium-sized businesses to rapidly and cost-effectively expand from essential phone system functionality to advanced business communications solution.

Available June 2001 through Catalyst Telecom, the introductory feature set provides all of the business benefits of a robust PBX, including voice mail and auto attendant, pre-bundled on the Intel(R) Converged Communications Platform 2100, an open, standards-based, application-ready platform that supports a broad range of compatible telephony and business applications, peripherals, and services from multiple vendors on a single system.

Initial applications in the suite include:

- TeleVantage CTM Softswitch -- a robust, software-based PBX including
integrated Voice-over-IP and supporting a wide range of analog, digital and IP
handsets. A Web browser administrator interface enables businesses to add users
and extensions easily.

- TeleVantage CTM Voice Mail -- professional quality voice mail that can be
easily and cost-effectively expanded as a business grows.

- TeleVantage CTM Auto Attendant -- including dial-by-name directory and
customizable greetings and menus to fit any businesses needs.

Fully integrated IP telephony capability enables businesses with multiple sites to take advantage of long-distance savings via voice-over-IP. TeleVantage CTM Suite provides an evolutionary alternative to a pure IP-PBX, offering a hybrid system with support for analog, digital or IP phone service and enabling a business to move to IP trunking or IP phones at any time while its applications stay the same.
