Artisoft and Ingram Micro Sign Distribution Agreement for Bundled

Business Communications Solution Including Intel Open Platforms and

IBM Servers

Artisoft, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASFT) today announced the availability of a complete communications system that combines Artisoft's TeleVantage software-based PBX, open system hardware components from Intel, and the strength and high reliability of IBM's NetFinity and xSeries servers. Based on Intel's building blocks, the bundled solution demonstrates the value of open systems in bringing a range of configuration and performance choices to end users, using both circuit-switched and VoIP capabilities. The solution will be available in the third quarter of 2001 from Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world's largest provider of technology products and supply chain management services.

Open, standards-based Intel communications building blocks enable both solution providers and system owners to enjoy the full benefits of converged communications, including seamless integration of IP and traditional telephony infrastructure and the blending of communications and business process software. Use of Intel hardware also allows deployment of advanced technologies like speech recognition.

Unlike proprietary phone systems, Artisoft TeleVantage operates on Windows NT and Windows 2000 systems and uses off-the-shelf computer, wiring, and telephony hardware, offering businesses a rich set of features for a low total cost of ownership.
