The company said that the new version offers some 'major' new modelling features, including support for the new OMG Unified Profile for DoDAF and MODAF MODAF Ministry of Defence Architecture Framework (UPDM UPDM Unpressurized Docking Mast 1.0) standard, improved model diagram presentation through glossUML, all new documentation generation through Artisan Publisher, increased extra-large model support and enhanced UML Activity modelling. Additional enhancements include improvements to its core technologies with more capabilities for its XMI (1) (XML Metadata Interchange) An XML-based representation of a UML model. XMI is used to transfer UML diagrams between various modeling tools. See UML.
