Artimplant AGM: BOD Authorized to Issue New Shares.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 2001

The shareholders' annual meeting authorized the board of directors to issue 2 000 000 new shares until the next annual general meeting - at one or several occasions and with or without preferential right for the shareholders.

The offered share price shall correspond to the market price at the time of the offering, with a necessary discount for realization.

Lennart Ribohn was elected as new member of the board of directors. Akbar Seddigh, Per Flodin, Svante Rasmuson, Helge Ramseng and Anders Cedronius were re-elected. Akbar Seddigh was chosen as chairman at the inaugural board meeting.
